Spiralox™ belt material is hydrophobic, preventing moisture from adhering to the belt in freezing applications and facilitating product release. Open area is preserved, and run time is increased. And because Spiralox belts are constructed of modular plastic, problems of metal belting, such as metal wear debris, are completely eliminated. As a result, excessive tension and downtime associated with belt flipping are eliminated or reduced. While production jams may still occur, Spiralox belts facilitate easy and quick repair to keep downtime to a minimum. And with no metal wear debris or lubricants, Intralox spiral belts are easier and faster to clean than metal and other plastic spiral belts.
